I had a great time at O’Connor’s Restaurant and Bar in Worcester Massachusetts for dinner last night. After having a lot of bad restaurant experiences in the area, I finally found a decent place! I loved the pub decor – you really get an Irish feeling from the moment you step inside! There is a cozy laid-back feeling to the place. I loved the dark wood, stained glass, and Irish memorabilia adorning all the walls. It really feels as if you are sitting in a pub in Ireland.
The menu is pretty large and they offer a full page of vegetarian options! This was a nice surprise for me as I am used to only having 1 or 2 entrees to choose from and/or having to make numerous substitutions. There were so many options I was overwhelmed! What a nice change! I decided to go with the Vegetarian Quiche – a delicious version with tomato, broccoli and cheddar. My boyfriend ordered Fish and Chips and was pleased. We ordered the Duo of “Mac’s” Spuds & Cheese Skillets as an appetizer, which was a delicious dish consisting of baked potato, cheddar cheese, sour cream, chives, and onions all blended together in perfection. I also highly recommend the Butternut Squash Soup!
I am glad that we found this gem after trying out several mediocre restaurants in Massachusetts. This was definitely our best restaurant to date. If are Irish or just love the Irish theme and decor, you will not be dissapointed. A large menu, lively bar, an extensive beer selection, good food, and an awesome Irish pub atmosphere make O’Connor’s Restaurant and Bar a must if you find yourself visiting Worcester.

That’s a very nice looking bar. I never been to Worcester but I have been to Boston. I must admit that the Irish know how to have a great time. A bar with vegetarian dishes is definitely a plus.
Vegetarian options ftw!
I already look of the place, it looks very authentic so that already won me over. Whenever I’m in Worcester I will try this pub out based off you’re review alone. I’ve never been to an Irish pub and there’s not many Irish pub’s located in Houston,TX. However i’m aware there’s a good chunk of Irish descent people in Massachusetts so I can’t wait to visit and experience the atmosphere!
